Introduction General Tab Alignment Tab Distribution Tab Effects Tab SplineSPREAD Shader Documentation & Conclusion SplineSPREAD ShaderIn the previous section I have already demonstrated the SplineSPREAD Shader in action but I didn't cover the different ways or that the shader can be applied to SplineSPREAD objects. Before getting into these it's worth mentioning that the results of the shader aren't visible until you do a render. I found the best way to adjust shader settings was to have the Interactive Render Region open. Below is the shader settings. I have changed from the default dropdown for the various modes so that you can see them all. Following on I'll provide an example of each mode applied to a similar SplineSPREAD setup (Not exactly the same as I adjusted a few settings to take advantage of each shader mode). The modes should then become pretty obvious what they are and how they are applied.
Intensity mode is a little different. All objects or clones get the same colour and the colour is determined by the Intensity value on the Effects tab for the Shader effect. In the image above I used an intensity of 50%. The result was green which was the colour in the middle of the gradient.
